PLATINUM CELEBRATIONS FOR THE QUEEN’S JUBILEE

Residents of Bowater Close and Stubbs Close came together on Saturday 4th June to celebrate the historic reign of our Queen, Elizabeth II.

Although we opted to hold the festivities inside, due to the forecast of rain, the sun shone, and the residents were out in force. It was a great opportunity to bring the residents of the Kingsbury Charity together, give them a chance to speak to our Board of Trustees and most importantly to meet each other and to join in the Jubilee celebrations.

All residents received a ‘limited edition’ commemorative Jubilee mug from the charity to mark the occasion. It turned out to be an all-round, feel good affair paying homage to the Queen’s 70 years of service. No one wanted it to end and a great time was had by all!
