The Almshouse Association and The Charity Commission expect almshouse charities to have a number of policies and procedures in place. The Kingsbury Charity has produced several policies and procedures as a matter of good practice. These include all of the recommended mandatory policies, as well as ones that are relevant and more specific to the Kingsbury Charity.

These policies have all been reviewed by the Board of Trustees and are reviewed on a regular basis. All residents and staff are expected to adhere to these policies.
